JQ International nurtures leadership as a core value of serving and engaging the LGBT Jewish and Ally community. The Queen Esther Fellowship (Qef) recognizes that the intersection of the LGBT & Jewish community is a hot bed for talented and passionate leadership seeking the skills and means to affect change. Leadership development and the Qef Fellowship is an opportunity to strengthen and provide for the future of the Jewish people.
FELLOWSHIP OVERVIEW
JQ Qef Fellows have the opportunity to develop a variety of skills including marketing, fund raising, programming and community action through a free fellowship program. Fellows are provided the tools, training, mentoring and opportunity to take on an ‘Action’ project within the JQ community. All JQ Qef Fellows are mentored in social justice, community engagement and project development. The purpose of the JQ Qef Fellowship is to groom LGBTQ Jews and allies to be fearless leaders in all areas of their lives while
giving back to their community.
