JQollege – College Campus Programming

JQollege: Citywide LGBTQA (lesbian, gay, bi, transgender, queer, and ally) & Jewish Campus Program Pop-up Events.

JQollege events offer identity-building programs that promote a healthy fusion of LGBTQ and Jewish identities.  Programs are funded through micro-grants allocated by JQ International and are funded by the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles’ Jewish Campus Life Grants Initiative.  The purpose of JQollege pop-up events is to strengthen a Jewish and LGBTQA network of students interested in creating community for social action, educational, and social programming and to promote visibility of their pride in their LGBTQA Jewish identities. These programs are designed by college students for college students at Los Angeles area college campuses.

College students may apply for up to two grants for events to be implemented by June 31, 2016. The grants include a $100 stipend for students and a programming/marketing budget of up to $350, for a total allocation of $450 per event. Only one grant may be applied for at one time and each event must be completed before applying for a second allocation.
